Speaker Bio

Aaron is President of Odyssey Group Wealth Advisors, working with individuals and families to organize their financial lives, plan for the future, and address the broader question of what they ultimately want their wealth to accomplish. Aaron has a particular passion for intentional philanthropy and legacy planning. He helps clients clarify what matters most to them, give with greater purpose, and integrate philanthropy into their family’s plans. He also works with nonprofit and community organizations to help donors and nonprofit executives approach giving more thoughtfully and strategically.

Presentation Description

Generous people typically don’t begin with a philanthropic strategy. Their giving develops over time through annual appeals, relationships, community involvement, and causes that capture their attention. In this discussion, Aaron will explore how donors can move from reactive giving toward a more intentional approach grounded in their values, priorities, and the impact they hope to have.

For development professionals, the discussion will also consider how better questions and donor education can create deeper conversations about generosity. Rather than focusing simply on the next gift, organizations can help donors think more broadly about what matters to them, how they want to make a difference, and the legacy they hope to leave.

A Teams link will be available for those unable to attend in person. We highly recommend attending in person to facilitate conversations and networking.
