Speaker: Jon Eisenberg

God first called Jon to the spiritual discipline of development and the ministry of generosity over 20 years ago.

Before becoming President of National Christian Foundation's Lancaster office, he served as Chief Development Officer for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. As CDO, Jon focused on driving efficient ROI by launching a Midlevel giving program and integrating that program with existing Missionary Support Fund Raising and centralized Marketing, Major, and Estate Gift efforts.

Prior to serving as CDO, he was VP of Advancement at Water Street Mission, where the team saw 56% growth in contributions over five years through its focus on building a solid donor experience and launching a major gifts program.

Jon helped launch InterVarsity's Major Gift and Capital Campaign strategies.  The organization went from wondering if they could raise $1M to securing $50M toward a $36M campaign goal 10 years later. Jon began working in Development by helping InterVarsity staff across the Mid-Atlantic Region secure their personal support and securing major gifts for a regional strategic plan.

As President of NCF in Lancaster, he's excited to build generous communities of givers, advisors and ministries in Lancaster and across the Mid-Atlantic. You can read more details at https://www.ncfgiving.com/lancaster/leaders/jon-eisenberg/

Topic:

Activating trends related to the "Great Wealth Transfer" to bring together holiday family gatherings and year-end giving goals.

Description:

Jon will share National Christian Foundation's latest findings on the largest wealth transfer in history and how we can apply these findings to the spiritual discipline of our development work. Then, we'll explore how we can bring joy to holiday family gatherings with multi-generational giving conversations in 2023 and beyond.

If you have questions you'd like to ask your colleagues in the Round Robin, please send them to Ryan Fisher, SCDN President at RFisher@luthercare.org.
